Who we are
SYNK Technology, Lower Mainland, BC. Contact: info@synktechnology.com or 604 316 9427.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, business name, phone, email (optional), the services you are interested in, a rough budget (optional), your preferred day and time, how you want to be contacted, a short message and your consent. If you arrived from one of our Instagram posts, we also keep a short tag that says which post. If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we keep that conversation like any business would.
Why
To contact you about your request. We only contact you about the request you made. We do not send marketing emails unless you separately agree to receive them, as Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires, and you can say stop at any time.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Form requests are saved in a private file on SYNK’s web hosting and a copy is emailed to our inbox. If we switch on our backup alert, a copy also goes to a private Google Sheet and Gmail alert that only SYNK can open. Only the SYNK team can see your request. Our hosting, email and (if used) Google store the data for us. We do not sell or share your information.
Spam protection
To stop automated spam, the form server keeps a one-way scrambled code (a salted hash) made from your IP address, plus the times of recent submissions, for up to one hour. Your actual IP address is not stored.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it, unless you become a client and we need it for the work.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information at any time: email info@synktechnology.com or call 604 316 9427.
This website
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Fonts load from Google Fonts and the 3D effect on the home page loads from the Cloudflare cdnjs library; like any web request, those services see your IP address. Your dark or light theme choice is saved in your own browser.
Draft: have a lawyer review this page, and confirm the 12-month retention period, before launch.
